Fear of failure:
If a person has been suffering from any anxiety disorders for a long period of time it is then likely for that person to become self-conscious. Self-conscious people are often worried about things they say and do. That person may have for a long time found it difficult to carry out normal day tasks whether at home or at work and when ever anything goes slightly wrong, he may feel the need to simply escape from the pressure of it all. He may constantly be worried about failing and would be hurt by the fear of the failure rather than the failure itself.
Some people constantly try to please others despite being taken advantage of by others. When others ask them for a favour they just cannot say no and if they do say no they usually feel guilty. Also they may feel clingy to others and may feel that without the support of others they wouldn't e able to make it on their own.
In order to remove this fear of failure we need to remove the negative script that failure is equal to bad. At times we need to fail at things in order to learn from it. If you look at confidant people you will realise how carefree they appear to be. It is not that they are not bothered about making mistakes. Confidant people simply realise that making mistakes is normal and they see making mistakes as a part of the learning process. If a businessman is too worried about making decisions he would most likely miss out on many profit making business opportunities.
